Terms & Conditions – Online Art Auction
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of this website and participation in auctions for original artwork operated by Jasu Wonder World. By registering, accessing this website, or placing a bid, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to participate in auctions
- By registering, you confirm that all provided information is accurate and complete
- Jasu Wonder World reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at its discretion
3. Account Registration
To participate in auctions, users must:
- Create an account with valid contact details
- Maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials
- Accept full responsibility for all activity under their account
4. Auction Format
4.1 Auction Activation — Each artwork listing remains inactive until the first valid bid is placed. Once the first bid is submitted, the auction is automatically activated and a fixed 10-day countdown period begins immediately.
4.2 Auction Duration — Each auction runs for exactly 10 consecutive days from the first bid. The closing time is determined by the system clock on the website.
5. Bidding Rules
5.1 Binding Nature of Bids — All bids are legally binding offers. By placing a bid, you agree to purchase the artwork if you are the winning bidder, and to comply with all payment obligations.
5.2 Bid Requirements — Each new bid must exceed the current highest bid by the specified minimum increment. Once submitted, bids cannot be withdrawn or canceled.
5.3 Auction Integrity — Jasu Wonder World reserves the right to reject, cancel, or remove suspicious or fraudulent bids, and to suspend or permanently ban users engaging in manipulation, abuse, or unfair practices.
6. Auction Closing & Winner Determination
At the end of the 10-day period, the auction closes automatically, the highest valid bid is declared the winner, and the winner will be notified via email and/or platform notification.
7. Payment Terms
7.1 Payment Obligation — The winning bidder must complete payment within 72 hours of the auction closing.
7.2 Accepted Payment Methods — Payments are processed securely via Stripe (credit/debit cards) or PayPal.
7.3 Failure to Pay — If payment is not received within the required timeframe, Jasu Wonder World reserves the right to offer the artwork to the next highest bidder, or relist the artwork for auction. The defaulting bidder may face account suspension or permanent ban, restriction from future auctions, and legal action where applicable.
8. Seller Obligations
Jasu Wonder World (seller) is legally obligated to sell the artwork to the winning bidder at the final bid price, provide the artwork as described in the listing, and include a certificate of authenticity where applicable.
9. Shipping & Delivery
Shipment will occur only after full payment confirmation. Shipping costs, methods, and estimated delivery times are specified in each listing. Jasu Wonder World is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs/import procedures. Where applicable, shipments may include insurance for protection against loss or damage.
10. Returns & Refunds
All sales are final. Refunds will only be considered in cases of proven misrepresentation of the artwork, or damage during transit (subject to shipping insurance terms).
11. Intellectual Property
All artwork, images, and website content remain the intellectual property of Jasmine Hintsala / Jasu Wonder World. Purchase of artwork does not transfer reproduction or commercial rights, unless explicitly agreed in writing.
12. Platform Rights
Jasu Wonder World reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate auctions at any time; correct errors in listings, pricing, or descriptions; and update or revise these Terms without prior notice.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jasu Wonder World is not liable for technical failures or system interruptions, missed bids due to connectivity or user issues, or user misconduct or third-party actions. Participation in auctions is at the user’s own risk.
14. Fraud & Misuse
Any attempt to manipulate bidding, create fake accounts, or commit fraud will result in immediate account termination, permanent ban from the platform, and possible legal action.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Helsinki, Finland.

Important Notice: By placing a bid, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that you are entering into a legally binding contract, you are financially responsible for completing the purchase if you win, and the seller is equally obligated to complete the sale.
